Polimex-Mostostal launched activity in the railway and road industries in 2005. It is an area which we find very perspective. It is another significant contract concluded in the last period in the railway infrastructure sector. In September this year, we signed a contract regarding reconstruction of the E-30 railway line along the Wrocław – Legnica section for the net value of 26,978,813 euros, while in October this year the consortium, the leader of which is Torpol of the Polimex-Mostostal group, signed a contract for the amount of nearly 145 million euros for the project being part of the 2nd stage of modernisation of the E-65 Warsaw – Gdynia railway line. 37% of it is due to Torpol.

Torpol with the PXM capital group – a 100% subsidiary company of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. – offers comprehensive realisation of transportation objects, above all the foregoing: railways and railway stations, tram rails inclusive of the traction network, roads for motor vehicles, and all types of transportation routes including lighting and accompanying infrastructure, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.
