Selection of a bid. Construction of the S-69 Expressway - "Mikuszowice" junction.

The Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. informs that on 30 April 2010 a bid was selected in a public procurement procedure conducted as a limited tender concerning the "Construction of the S-69 Expressway Bielsko Biała – Żywiec – Zwardoń, "Mikuszowice" junction ("Żywiecka/Bystrzańska") – Żywiec" by the Ordering Party: Katowice Division of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, ul. Myśliwska 5, 40 – 017 Katowice, which was authorised by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, ul. Żelazna 59, 00-484 Warsaw, to conduct the public procurement procedure.

The bid submitted by Polimex – Mostostal S.A. along with Doprastav a.s. Bratislava (Slovak Republic) and Zakład Robót Mostowych "MOSTMAR" Marcin i Grzegorz Marcinków, Spółka Jawna, Zarzecze ul. Łęgowa 1, 34 – 326 Pietrzykowice (hereinafter referred to as "Contractors") was selected as the most advantageous one. Polimex – Mostostal S.A. is the Consortium Leader.

Participation of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. in work and remuneration shall amount to 34 % of the entire work and remuneration.

The gross price of the offer: PLN 788,100,446.85– (say: seven hundred eighty eight million one hundred thousand four hundred forty six zlotys and eighty five grosz).

Deadline: 27 months from the beginning of work.

The decision on selecting the most advantageous bid is not final. Contractors and other persons, if their legal interest in procuring the contract suffered or may suffer damage due to the Ordering Party’s violation of the regulations of the Act of 29 January 2004 "Public Procurement", are protected by legal procedures specified in Chapter 6 of this Act. The deadline for the protest is 10 days from the date whereon a given person received or may have received information on circumstances constituting the grounds for the protest.

The Ordering Party shall inform Contractors about the date of signing the contract and related formalities in separate communication. The inspection of the President of the Public Procurement Office should be performed prior to concluding the contract.
