Confidential information – Receipt of a demand for payment under guarantee

The Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. with the registered office in Warsaw (the "Company") hereby informs that on 4 February 2014 it was notified by Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Ergo Hestia S.A. (the "Guarantor") of the receipt by the Guarantor from the University of Gdańsk with the registered office in Gdańsk (the "Beneficiary") of a request for payment of the amount of PLN 7,723,732.67 under two guarantees regarding the performance of the contract no. A120-211-29/11/KSZ for "Construction of an educational and administrative building of the University of Gdańsk in Gdańsk with the division into tasks: Task no. 1: Construction of a building of Modern Languages of the Faculty of Languages within The Baltic Campus of the University of Gdańsk in Gdańsk Task; no. 2: Construction of a building of central administration of the University of Gdańsk", issued by the Guarantor.

The request currently is being analysed from the legal and formal point by the Guarantor.
