Polimex-Mostostal S.A. with the award for the Leader of Technical Safety

On 29 May 2019 the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) hosted a gala for the 5th edition of the Leader of Technical Safety Ranking. This year the title of the Leader of Technical Safety was granted to Polimex-Mostostal S.A. The award was presented to the President of the Management Board Krzysztof Figat during the event.

 „It is a great privilege to receive this prestigious award. The title of the Leader of Technical Safety honours all the employees of Polimex Mostostal Capital Group who have earned this award through their hard work, commitment and dedication to maintaining technical safety within the Company.

It is a second safety leader title that I have had an honour to accept this year on behalf of Polimex Mostostal Capital Group. In February we received an equally prestigious Diamond of Infrastructure and Construction in the Safety Leader category.

The award granted by the Office of Technical Inspection is a proof of recognition for the Capital Group as a reliable business partner who guarantees the highest standards of safety on the projects the Company is entrusted with.

The title of the Leader of Technical Safety is a token of trust for the whole Group. Our goal is to lead by example in the industry in the years to come in terms of quality and safety"– said Krzysztof Figat, the President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.

The main purpose of the Leader of Technical Safety ranking of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) is to promote the initiatives to increase the safety of technical equipment. Through the competition the UDT aims to distinguish the companies and institutions that excel in the area of the safety of technical equipment operation, environment protection and the safety of working conditions for the employees, as well as the safety of technical devices and systems. 

The ranking aims to honour the daily effort of institutions and companies whose diligence in maintaining the highest standards of technical safety stands out nationwide and who set an example to follow for others.

In total, over 140 companies and institutions have entered into the competition. The Ranking of Entities was created by a Jury that consisted of the representatives of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology and the Office of Technical Inspection. The jury has granted the award of the Leader of Technical Safety in each of the four categories: technical equipment operators, technical equipment producers, laboratories recognised by UDT and enterprises promoting innovation in the area of technical safety. Moreover, in recognition of the number of submitted applications, the Jury decided to distinguish 4 companies and institutions in each category, granting them diplomas of recognition.
