Decision to declare the Issuer's subsidiary bankrupt

Legal basis: Article 17(1) of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC.

The Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. having its registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as the "Issuer”) informs that today it has been notified that on 17 January 2017 the District Court in Gliwice, XII Commercial Division, has decided to declare the bankruptcy of the Issuer's subsidiary, Polimex Engeneering spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością under liquidation, having its registered office in Gliwice.

Under the foregoing decision, Gizela Jamróz, a District Court Judge, has been appointed a magistrate in bankruptcy and Joanna Mleczko, a District Court Judge, has been appointed a deputy magistrate in bankruptcy.  Franciszek Cagz, holding restructuring advisor license no. 46, has been appointed an official receiver.

The bankruptcy of the subsidiary will have no influence on the current results of the Issuer.
