Polimex-Mostostal has made the most advantageous bid for the construction of a section of the A-4 expressway
Yesterday, i.e. on 17 August 2010, the Ordering Party – the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad), Branch Office in Rzeszów – informed of the selection of the bid made by Polimex-Mostostal for the construction of a section of the A-4 expressway along the Rzeszów (Rzeszów East junction) – Jarosław (Wierzbna junction) section as the most advantageous one.
The period of realisation of the expressway section of a length of 41 kilometres will be 21 months after the date of commencement of the works.
Signature of the Contract will be held following an audit by the President of the Public Procurement Office and fulfilment of the obligations provided for in the Public Procurement Law.
- In the recent weeks, we have signed several significant contracts and our bids – just as the one for the A-4 expressway – have been deemed the most advantageous by the Ordering Parties. Among others, I would also like to mention a contract for the construction of a section of the S-69 expressway or for the construction of the Centre for Innovations and Advanced Technologies of the Lublin University of Technology, and bids regarding construction of railway line sections (bids made by Torpol – a 100% subsidiary company of Polimex-Mostostal) as well as for the construction of a football stadium in Gliwice.
Allowing for the contracts yet to be signed, our portfolio of orders has increased to the historically largest amount of PLN 10.9 billion, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.
