Bid exceeding PLN 656 million, made by a consortium of companies comprising Torpol, in the tender regarding reconstruction of the E-30 railway line has been considered the most advantageous
Today, i.e. on 11 October 2010, the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal obtained information that another bid made by a consortium of companies comprising Torpol – a 100% subsidiary of Polimex-Mostostal – have been considered the most advantageous.
The bid regards design and execution of the Cracow – Medyka – state boundary railway line, along the Tarnów – Dębica section within km 80.200 – 111.500 as part of the ‘Modernisation of the E30/C-E30 railway line, Cracow – Rzeszów section, stage III’ project. Tender 2.1.
The Contracting Party is PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.
The bid has been made by a consortium of the following companies:
- FEROCO S.A.
- TORPOL Sp. z o.o.,
- Zakład Robót Komunikacyjnych – DOM w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o.
- Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Technicznych INTERCOR Sp. z o.o.
The bid value amounts to:
- net: PLN 538,197,266.66;
- gross: PLN 656,600,665.33.
Estimated value of the works to be executed by Torpol Sp. z o.o. amounts to:
- net: PLN 99 million;
- gross: PLN 121 million.
The task execution period is to be 48 months of the signature of the Contract.
The signature of the contract will take place following fulfilment of the conditions provided for in the Public Procurement Law.
“Polimex-Mostostal develops its activity in the road and railway building sector. This bid is yet another one considered by the Ordering Party to be the most advantageous”, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A.
“Following the awaited signature of the contracts, the value of our portfolio of orders will amount to over PLN 10 billion”, concludes President Jaskóła.
“We expect that in the coming months there will be arising further tenders for the construction and modernisation of motorways, expressways and city ring roads as well as larger contracts in the road building segment. Polimex-Mostostal will participate in the realisation of those investments”, concludes Jaskóła.
