Polimex-Mostostal SA concluded another road contract for 80 million PLN.
Today, i.e. on 9 December 2009, Polimex-Mostostal S.A. and the Management Board of the Municipal Infrastructure and Transportation of Krakow concluded a contract for the realisation of extension of Surzyckiego -Christo Botewa Streets and construction of Śliwiaka Street in Krakow.
Contract net value: 65,452,980.93 PLN (in words: sixty-five million, four hundred fifty-two thousand, nine hundred eighty point nine three PLN).
Contract gross value: 79,852,636.73 PLN – (in words: seventy-nine million, eight hundred fifty-two thousand, six hundred thirty-six point seven three PLN).
The scope of the contract covers, among other things, constructing:
a 4.3-kilometre-long two-lane road of two 3.5-metre-wide lanes in each direction, including reconstructing the existing roadway,
acceleration lanes in the area of the crossings,
crossings with transverse roads, including sections of transverse roads,and replacing existing utilities,
as well as providing:
drainage and environment protection equipment,
traffic safety equipment,
street lighting and greenery.
Contract execution period – by 31.08.2010.
- Since the beginning of the year, Polimex-Mostostal has signed numerous contracts, including contracts for the realisation of large road-related investments:
· of the value of nearly 844 million PLN gross for the construction of section B of the A-2 motorway Stryków - Konotopa,
· for the construction of a section of the A1 motorway from the Sośnica junction to the Maciejów junction for 900 million PLN net,- informs President of the Management Board, Konrad Jaskóła.
- We are successively supplementing the portfolio with further orders, emphasises the President.
- at this point, let me mention our road bid regarding construction of the A-4 motorway along the section from the Szarów junction to the Brzesko junction which has proved to be the most advantageous. We have also recently made a bid with the best price for the construction of a power unit at a heat and power generating plant in Bielsko-Biała for 500 million PLN. We hope that in the coming future we will also sign these contracts, concludes Konrad Jaskóła.
