Polimex-Mostostal to construct the building of the University of Gdańsk

Yesterday, i.e. on 12.07.2011, Polimex-Mostostal concluded with the University of Gdańsk a contract for the construction of an education and administration building of the University.

Contract gross value: PLN 77,237,326.00.

Contract net value: PLN 62,794,574.00.

The subject matter of the investment is the construction of an education building of the Faculty of Modern Languages also housing administration of the University of Gdańsk in Gdańsk.

The building has a partial basement and features various heights. The substantial part of the building of the height of 4 overground storeys contains the didactic part while the tallest, 8-storey part (overground storeys) contains the administrative part. The building has been designed to be directly located on continuous footing and spot footing (in the part with the basement, the foundations have been designed at the depths from -3.15 to -5.10 m. The main structural elements of the building have been designed as monolithic and made of reinforced concrete.

Built-up area: 4,815.0 m2

Cubature: 87,265.13 m3

Deadline for the completion of works: June 2013

Polimex-Mostostal SA is the general contractor of the investment.
