Confidential information – Payment under guarantee

With reference to the current report no. 19/2014 dated 4 February 2014, the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A. with the registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby informs that on 21 February 2014 it was notified via e-mail by Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Ergo Hestia S.A. (hereinafter referred to as the “Insurer”) of making payment by the Insurer on 21 February 2014 for the University of Gdańsk with the registered office in Gdańsk (hereinafter referred to as the “Beneficiary”) of the total amount of PLN 7,723,732.67 (in words: seven million seven hundred and twenty three thousand, seven hundred and thirty two point 67/100) under two performance bonds of the contract no. A120-211-29/11/KSZ for “Construction of an educational and administrative building of the University of Gdańsk with the division into tasks: Task no. 1: Construction of a building of Modern Languages of the Faculty of Languages within the Baltic Campus of the University of Gdańsk in Gdańsk; Task no. 2: Construction of a building of central administration of the University of Gdańsk.” (“Contract”), issued by the Insurer.

At the same time, on 21 February 2014 there was concluded an agreement between the Insurer and the Company on spreading out the amount paid by the Insurer under the performance bond of a Contract into 12 (in words: twelve) monthly installments with the Company’s repayment date until 30 January 2015.
