We are launching a new project to modernise Ośrodek Namysłowska Stołecznego Centrum Sportu Aktywna Warszawa (Namysłowska Sports Centre in Warsaw)

Namysłowska

On Wednesday, 11 March 2026, in ZODIAK - the Warsaw Architecture Pavilion - the authorities of the City of Warsaw and representatives of Polimex Mostostal Capital Group have signed a contract for the completion of the first stage of the modernisation of Ośrodek Namysłowska, one of the key sports and leisure projects for the right bank of Warsaw.

The project is being carried out per the order of the City of Warsaw, represented by the Stołeczne Centrum Sportu Aktywna Warszawa.

The contractor of the investment project is a consortium including: Polimex Infrastruktura sp. z o. o. - the leader, Polimex Mostostal S.A., Mosty Łódź S.A.

"Today's signing of the contract for the first phase of the modernisation of Ośrodek Namysłowska is a special moment for us. This is an important investment worth nearly 76 million zlotys by the Polimex Mostostal Capital Group, which will bring real benefits to the residents of Warsaw. The Centre will be completely transformed with a state-of-the-art FINA-standard swimming pool hall, recreational areas, a sauna garden, spaces for urban sports and relaxation areas.

As Contractor, we are undertaking a project that fits perfectly with the strategic direction of development of our Group - the construction of modern facilities of high social value, to the highest technical and safety standards. It is also an important step in the development of our competence in the delivery of sports and water infrastructure.

At the same time, a Bachleda Termy Kasprowy swimming pool complex is being built in Zakopane, ie. an investment that will raise the standard of sports and leisure infrastructure in one of Poland's key tourist locations.

This is a continuation of our company's long-standing experience: we built and extended Termy Uniejów (Uniejow Thermal Baths) - one of the most recognisable water facilities in Poland; in Warsaw we were responsible for the construction of Legia Stadium, one of the most important football stadiums in Poland.

These projects show that Polimex Mostostal and Polimex Infrastruktura are now contractors capable of realising complex, multi-disciplinary investments which combine modern technology, experience and responsibility towards local communities. As winners of the Builder of Polish Sport title, we have the ambition to create facilities that will serve residents for years to come.

I am convinced that in 2028 we will give Warsaw a modern, functional and friendly facility that will become a true landmark of the right bank of the city," said Jakub Stypuła, President of the Management Board of Polimex Mostostal S.A.

The contract’s gross value is PLN 75,842,953.97 and the project will run from 11 March 2026 to August 2028.

The scope of work includes the construction and upgrading of key sports and recreation areas, including the following:

  • a modern swimming pool hall meeting FINA standards,
  • sauna area with an outdoor garden,
  • a climbing wall,
  • catering area,
  • an auditorium to enable competitions to be held,
  • Skwer Sportów Miejskich (City Sports Square) available to the public,
  • comprehensive landscaping of the area: parking spaces, greenery, access and access routes and space for food trucks.

The project is a part of a long-term strategy to revitalise Praga-Północ and develop the capital city's sports infrastructure.

The modernisation of the Namyslowska Centre will significantly improve access to sports and recreational infrastructure for the residents of Praga-Północ. The new multi-purpose facility also supports the implementation of Warsaw's strategic activities for the development of physical activity and high-quality public spaces.

For Polimex Mostostal Group, the project represents another important undertaking in the area of sports facilities meeting international technical standards.
