Torpol has made the best bid for the construction of the Kraków – Medyka – state boundary railway line, Podłęże – Bochnia section.
The Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal SA informs that the bid made by Torpol – a 100% subsidiary company of Polimex-Mostostal – in the tender for the design and execution of works on the Cracow – Medyka – state boundary railway line, along the Podłęże – Bochnia section within km 16.000 – 39.000 as part of the ‘Modernisation of the E30/C-E30 railway line, Cracow – Rzeszow section, stage III’ project (tender 1.1) has been found by the Ordering Party, the PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., to be the best one.
The bid was made by a consortium of the following companies:
- TORPOL Sp. z o.o., Poznan, (Consortium Leader),
- FEROCO S.A., Poznan,
- Zakład Robót Komunikacyjnych – DOM w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o.
- Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Technicznych INTERCOR Sp. z o.o., Zawiercie.
The bid value amounts to:
- net: PLN 516,289,175.22;
- gross: PLN 629,872,793.77.
Value of the works to be executed by Torpol amounts to:
- net: PLN 232,330,000.00;
- gross: PLN 283,442,600.00.
Works execution period: 40 months of the signature of the Contract.

Its net value has exceeded PLN 10 billion, taking into account the recently signed contract for the construction of the S69 expressway and the best-priced bid for the construction of the A-4 motorway Rzeszow – Jarosław section for PLN 1.8 billion net, and 2 bids made by Torpol for the construction of railway lines near Bochnia and Ciechanów where our prices are also the best, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board.
