Polimex-Mostostal supports Polish export
The Polimex-Mostostal Group has become a member of the Polish Cluster of Civil Engineering Exporters association.
The Polish Cluster of Civil Engineering Exporters association is an initiative of entrepreneurs for whom the primary goal is building and deepening the cooperation between Polish construction companies on export markets as well as the internationalization of the Polish construction sector.
The core ideal of this initiative is the global promotion of the capabilities of Polish companies in the field of expanding and modernizing widely understood infrastructure while utilizing the latest technologies, products, systems and highly qualified engineering staff.
- "Construction companies with Polish capital must support each other's actions on foreign markets. Every country has its own individual conditions hence the knowledge of how to effectively communicate with foreign contracting parties and what they consider crucial, is highly valuable. We intend to share this knowledge within the framework of our association" - says Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal
Polimex-Mostostal is currently performing contracts in: Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Great Britain, among others.
- "The competition on foreign markets is immense; in many cases we take part in tenders alongside parent companies of construction firms operating in Poland. These companies will not support the export of Polish construction companies" - explains Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca. "The companies associated in the Cluster will not only share knowledge but also, if possible, jointly take part in foreign tenders or invite Polish companies as subcontractors."
In accordance with the strategy, the revenues from the export of goods and services of the Polimex-Mostostal Group in the years 2016-2020 will amount to almost 2 billion PLN.
