Polimex-Mostostal SA has concluded a new contract for over 54 million PLN

Today, i.e. on 28 September 2010, Polimex-Mostostal concluded a contract with – Gliwice City Hall for the construction of a football stadium in Gliwice at Okrzei street.

The Contract net value is: 44,374,798.77 PLN

The Contract gross value is 54,137,254.50 PLN

The Contract will be realised by a consortium of companies comprising::

Polimex-Mostostal – leader,

ADT Fire and Security, Warsaw – partner (responsible for the execution of part of teletechnical works).

Polimex-Mostostal will realise the investment in 2 stages.

During the first stage the following works will be executed:

- demolition works on the existing stadium, club building, auxiliary facilities and lighting masts of the main pitch, inclusive of fittings and control systems,

- disassembly of the existing monitoring system,

- disassembly of the existing fencing,

- construction of a 3-storey club building, inclusive of a mezzanine over the 3rd floor,

-  assembly of roofed stands,

-  execution of a heated pitch of the dimensions of 105 x 68 m.,

-  construction of a training pitch with ‘artificial turf’,

-  reconstruction of the fencing on the premises, inclusive of entrances and exits as well as drives to the stadium,

-  construction internal roads and car parks for passenger cars and coaches,

-  execution of the systems, inclusive of the main pitch lighting system of the intensity of 2 thousand lux.

During the second stage, a car park on the lots currently located beyond the premises of the stadium will be constructed.

Entirety of the works of the two stages will be completed in December 2012 (the 1st stage to be completed in July 2011).

- The contract will be yet another one for the construction of sports facilities. At present, Polimex-Mostostal is successfully executing the following sports and recreation facilities:

-  Legia football stadium in Warsaw,

-  Wisła football stadium in Cracow,

-  Football stadium in Siedlce,

-  European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk

-  Aquapark in Ruda Śląska,
