"Polimex-Mostostal” SA and "GE Power" Sp. z o.o. signed a letter of intent with respect to the construction of the Ostrołęka C power plant 1,000 MW.
On June 22nd, "Polimex-Mostostal” SA and "GE Power" Sp. z o.o. signed a letter of intent with respect to the construction of Ostrołęka C, a power plant with a capacity of approx. 1,000 MW, enough power for 300,000 Polish homes.
Both companies have agreed that GE Power Sp. will to subcontract for one or more of the following scopes : construction work, delivery of steel structures and assembly of steel structures to Polimex-Mostostal S.A. The two companies may also partner in the area of: project work and other services and deliveries required for the implementation of the Ostrołęka Project.
This high-efficiency, low-emission ultra-supercritical steam power plant will have a capacity of approx. 1,000 MW, and burnhard coal using the most advanced technologies available today in Poland. The plant will perform to the highest efficiency level possible for a steam power plant in Poland with 46% efficiency, well above the global average of 33% efficiency.
Polimex-Mostostal, has unique competences in the engineering and construction industry in Poland, and counts on good cooperation in connection with construction p to of the power plant in Ostrołęka. Once again, we will cooperate with GE Power on the construction of power units. We have extensive experience in implementing such large investments. - said Krzysztof Figat, president of the board of Polimex-Mostostal.
