Polimex-Mostostal has signed another contract in the power engineering industry.

On 12 January, Polimex-Mostostal signed a contract with Hitachi Power Europe GmbH.

The contract includes installation and welding of pressure pipelines for a 1,000 MW power boiler at the KW Wilhelmshaven power plant in Germany.

The Contract will be executed by a consortium of the following companies:

Polimex-Mostostal S.A. – Consortium leader,
Energomontaż-Północ S.A. – partner.
The value of the contract amounts to 3.9 million EUR net (three million nine hundred thousand EUR).

The contract will have been executed by December 2010.

- Among others, we are currently realising the following contracts in the power engineering sector:

a contract for the delivery and installation of 6,819 tons of steel structures and installation of 1,628 tons of equipment of the value of nearly 84 million PLN net for the Bełchatów Power Plant stoking system,
a contract for the delivery and installation of steel structures at the Neurath Power Plant in Grevenbroich, Germany, for over 55 million PLN net,
a contract of the value of nearly 410 million PLN net for the construction of a heat unit at the Bielsko-Biała Heat and Power Generating Plant.
As a consortium leader and general contractor, we are also participating in the tender for the construction of a 480 MW power unit at the Siekierki Power Plant, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board.
