Polimex-Mostostal has a new development strategy

The Supervisory Board of Polimex-Mostostal expressed its positive opinion on the company's new strategy for the years 2016-2020, as previously adopted the Management Board of PxM.

In line with the announcements, the Management Board of PxM presented, in June,  a new development strategy to the supervisory board whose main objective is to build the value of Polimex-Mostostal. The new plans assume to support the development of Polimex on two main pillars, i.e. the power and petrochemical industries will receive additional support of the industrial construction activity and production activities, intended to be continued by the Group.

- It is an important date to us. We set the entire organization onto new track, into the direction of development. This process has lasted from the beginning of the year, and its crowning achievement is the approval by the supervisory board of the strategy prepared together with the managerial team of the company - Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca says, the acting President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.

- Implementation of new development plans should be agreed with financial creditors, mainly due to the requirement of annexing the restructuring Agreement, which provided for the sale of Mostostal Siedlce associated with the repayment of part of the financial debt of the company. That is why the new strategy will be presented to all shareholders of the company in the second half of July - Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca says.
