Polimex-Mostostal has made the most advantageous bid for the construction of the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk

The bid made by Polimex-Mostostal for the construction of the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk has been considered by the Ordering Party – the city of Gdansk – to be the most advantageous.

The bid net value amounts to: PLN 128 million.

The bid gross value amounts to: PLN 157 million.

Time of execution of comprehensive construction and installation works, including obtainment of a use permit – 36 months of the commencement of the works.

Development area– 6,901.01 m2.

Building total floor space – 28,988.76 m2.

Number of parking places in the underground car park – 286.

The Centre will serve the following functions: museum, archives, culture, science and research as well as training and education.

Signature of the Contract will be held following an audit by the President of the Public Procurement Office and fulfilment of the obligations provided for in the Public Procurement Law.

- In the recent weeks, several of our bids, similarly to the European Solidarity Centre, have been indicated by the ordering parties as the most advantageous ones. These include, among others: construction of the A4 motorway section and railway line sections (bids made by Torpol – a 100% subsidiary company of Polimex-Mostostal) or construction of a football stadium in Gliwice, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal S.A.

- In turn, the contracts which we have signed recently include, among others: contract for the construction of the S-69 motorway section, for the construction of the Centre for Innovation and Advanced Technologies of the Lublin University of Technology, or the contract with Alstom Power for the installation of steel structures at Mannheim Power Plant in Germany, adds President Jaskóła.

- Allowing for the contracts yet to be signed, our portfolio of orders has increased to a  very high amount exceeding PLN 10 billion, concludes the President.
