Polimex-Mostostal has completed the reconstruction of the road from Dzierżoniów to Lagiewniki

On October 31 the provincial road No. 384, section Dzierżoniów – Łagiewniki was commissioned. The investment was implemented by Polimex-Mostostal.

The Dzierżoniów - Łagiewniki road is of strategic importance for the development of the Dzierżoniów poviat. Its reconstruction will improve communication with the capital of the region and the national road No. 8. It’s improved quality will facilitate the access of investors to the Subzone of the Walbrzych Special Economy Zone.

The project consisted of the reconstruction of the existing road and the construction of new engineering structures (bridges, viaducts, culverts). Polimex-Mostostal has also reconstructed the existing facilities along the road and built the Sieniawka and Uciechów bypasses.

- After commissioning, comfort of traffic will significantly improve, and the annoyance of the inhabitants associated with the noise of passing vehicles will be decreased, safety will also be increased due to traffic reduction - Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca says, the Vice President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal SA.

The gross contract value amounted to nearly PLN 80 million. The Managing Authority of the Lower Silesia is the investor, and the Lower Silesia Road and Railway Administration in Wroclaw is the Employer.

All the works were done by the PRInż-1 company from the Polimex-Mostostal SA Group.

Polimex-Mostostal has recently finished the construction of the "small" Świdnica bypass, the bypass of Gdów and the national roads No. 1 and No. 86 in Tychy.
