Polimex Mostostal Capital Group was awarded the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader for 2026-2027 for the fifth time
For the fifth time in a row, Polimex Mostostal Capital Group has received the highest award for employers – the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader for 2026-2027, awarded by the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB).
This is the 26th time that the Institute has rewarded companies and institutions with particularly active and effective measures to improve employee safety and health protection. In recognition of its achievements in the implementation of modern technical and organisational solutions, the Selection Committee of Safe Work Leaders at CIOP-PIB awarded the Polimex Mostostal Group the Golden Card for 2026-2027.
The awards were presented on 13-14 November in Malbork at a gala ceremony during the 18th Safe Work Leaders Forum Conference.
CIOP-PIB assesses the activities of the members of the Safe Work Leaders Forum annually, awarding them Green, Silver and Golden Cards. Polimex Mostostal has once again fulfilled the conditions to receive the highest award in the category.
“This is the fifth time we have been awarded the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader – a credit to our employees and health and safety teams, who ensure safety and health in the workplace every day. This success shows that together we are creating a culture where caring for people is a priority. The Golden Card is not only an accolade but also a commitment to continue to improve our standards and protect those who are at the heart of the Polimex Mostostal Group.”, said Jakub Stypuła, President of the Management Board of Polimex Mostostal S.A.
During the gala, which took place on 13 November 2025 in Malbork, a total of 30 Cards of Safe Work Leader and nine nominations for new Forum members were presented.
“During this unique meeting, we awarded for the 28th time companies and institutions that create a safe working environment with determination and professionalism. The awarded Cards are a recognition of their significant achievements in improving working conditions and consistently building a culture of safety”, emphasized Agnieszka Szczygielska, Director of CIOP-PIB.
The event’s guest of honour was Krzysztof Stefański, PhD, Director of the Labour Law Department at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
The Golden Card can be awarded to participants in the Leaders’ Forum who already hold a Silver Card and have been actively involved with the Institute for at least 5 years, have kept the rate of occupational accidents and illnesses below the national average and have effectively implemented an OHS management system. Systematic preventive activities to promote a safety culture and investments in improving working conditions are also an important factor.
Positive verification of the application by the Safe Work Leaders Selection Committee allows the company to benefit from the Institute’s support in disseminating scientific and technical achievements, and participation in events organised on the subject of occupational safety and health at home and abroad.
