Polimex Budownictwo has joined a cooperation agreement for the development of the Photovoltaics Sector
On 2 September this year, Polimex Mostostal Group company Polimex Budownictwo Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. joined the Cooperation Agreement for the Development of the Photovoltaics Sector, which was signed on 16 December 2021 by representatives of the government administration and stakeholders of the solar energy sector in Poland.
The parties to the Agreement are representatives of the government administration: Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Minister of Education and Science, Minister of State Assets, Minister of Development and Technology, Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives of investors, actors in the photovoltaic supply chain, business environment organisations, financial and insurance entities and representatives from the world of science.
The initiative aims to support the sustainable development of the industry, increase the domestic photovoltaic equipment industry's participation in the supply chain and establish a permanent platform for the Parties to collaborate on the dynamic development of photovoltaics in Poland, with a focus on enhancing domestic economic, technological, energy, environmental and social benefits.
Joining the agreement is part of Polimex Mostostal Capital Group's strategy and plan to further develop the company's competence in the implementation of RES projects.
