Polimex Budownictwo with contract for design and construction of PV Krotoszyn plant

on 9 August this year, a company from the Polimex Mostostal Capital Group - Polimex Budownictwo - signed a contract with PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A., a company belonging to the PGE Capital Group, the largest domestic producer of electricity from renewable sources, for the design and construction of a PV Krotoszyn photovoltaic installation with a capacity of up to 5 MW.

 

The investment, carried out by Polimex Budownictwo under the EPC formula, includes comprehensive turnkey implementation of the PV Krotoszyn photovoltaic farm, i.e. design and comprehensive execution of construction and electrical works, along with the accompanying infrastructure and power lead-out, i.e. MV cable lines with the accompanying teletechnical network, MV/nN transformer stations and connection to the OSD network, as well as carrying out all the acceptance tests and inspections provided for by the Ordering Party's requirements and legal regulations, and handing over the Photovoltaic Installation for operation. The contract also includes obtaining the final administrative decisions necessary for implementation and use.

 

The farm will be equipped with modern photovoltaic modules of at least 500 W. It is to have technical parameters allowing high productivity in typical Polish weather conditions.

 

The project in Krotoszyn is part of Polimex Mostostal Capital Group's strategy and plan to further develop its competence in the implementation of RES investments. After the coal and gas power facilities, this is another project being carried out for the PGE Capital Group.

 

The net value of the contract is PLN 13,370,000

 

The completion date for the subject matter of the Agreement is July 2023.
