New contract of Torpol worth over PLN 656 m for modernisation of the E-30 railway

Yesterday, i.e. on 28 December 2010 Torpol – a 100% subsidiary of Polimex-Mostostal – signed a contract for designing and executing the Kraków – Medyka – state border railway, Tarnów – Dębica section from km 80,200 to km 111,500, within the scope of the “Modernisation of the E30/C-E30 railway, Kraków – Rzeszów section, stage III” project. Tender 2.1.

The ordering party is PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.

The contract was signed by the consortium of the following companies:

- FEROCO S.A. – leader,

- TORPOL Sp. z o.o.,

- Zakład Robót Komunikacyjnych – DOM w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o.,

- Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Technicznych INTERCOR Sp. z o.o.

The contract value amounts to:

- net: PLN 538,197,266.66,

- gross: PLN 656,600,665.33.

The value of the works to be executed by Torpol amounts to:

- net: PLN 94,852,211.00,

- gross: PLN 115,719,697.42.

The works will have been executed by 30 September 2014.

- Recently Torpol has entered into 21 various contracts with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. both as an individual company and a member of various consortia. The total value of those contracts exceeds PLN 911 m gross. – adds President Jaskóła.
