Management board of Polimex Mostostal signed today in Warsaw a Memorandum of Cooperation with Westinghouse Electric Company

Westinghouse Electric Company and Polimex Mostostal signed today in Warsaw Memorandum of Cooperation. Concluded Agreement concerns cooperation in the field of potential  construction of six  AP1000® reactors within implementation of the Polish Nuclear Energy Program and future projects with AP1000® technology in the Europe Middle-East region.

Westinghouse is one of the three pretenders to the first tender for the construction of nuclear power plant in Poland. Agreement covers support and cooperation of both companies within the sphere of undertakings connected with plans of construction of nuclear power plants on the territories of Republic of Poland, Ukraine, Republic of Slowenia and Czech Republic.

Westinghouse Electric Company is the world leader in the nuclear power and provider of products and technology for nuclear power plants.
