Golden Card of Safe Work Leader 2024-2025 for Polimex Mostostal Capital Group

For the fourth time, Polimex Mostostal Capital Group has received the highest award for employers - the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader for 2024-2025, awarded by the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute.

For the 25th time, the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute has honoured companies and institutions carrying out particularly active and effective measures to improve human health and safety.  

In recognition of its performance in the use of scientific and technological achievements for the improvement of working conditions, safety and human protection in the working environment, the Selection Committee of Safe Work Leaders at the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute awarded the Polimex Mostostal Group the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader for 2024-2025. 

The card was presented on 15 November this year at a gala ceremony held at Gniew Castle during the XXVI annual Safe Work Leaders Forum Conference entitled. “The digital age - opportunities and challenges in occupational safety”. 

CIOP-PIB assesses the activities of the members of the Safe Work Leaders Forum annually, awarding them Green, Silver and Golden Cards of Safe Work Leaders. 

Polimex Mostostal Capital Group has once again fulfilled the conditions to receive this highest award in the category.  

|The awarding of the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader is a tribute to all employees of the Polimex Mostostal Capital Group, it is also proof that we are an employer that cares about safe conditions and a good working atmosphere. 

This is the fourth time that Polimex Mostostal has successfully combined corporate social responsibility with occupational safety. Being awarded the Golden Card of Safe Work Leader for 2024-2025 is a reward and a commitment to continually act on the safety and health of our employees and colleagues in all areas of our business,” said Krzysztof Figat, President of Polimex Mostostal S.A. 

The Golden Card of Safe Work Leader can be awarded to a participant in the Leaders' Forum who already holds a Silver Card and has been actively involved with the Institute for at least 5 years. In addition, the condition is that the company's rate of occupational accidents and illnesses is below the national average and that an OHS management system is implemented and effectively maintained. Systematic preventive activities to promote a safety culture and investments in improving health and safety within the company's operations are also an important factor in the Golden Card awarding process. 

Positive verification of the application by the Safety Leaders Selection Committee allows the company to be awarded the card, which is valid for two years from the date of award and entitles it to, among other things, benefit from the Institute's support in disseminating scientific and research achievements aimed at improving occupational safety and health, and participation in numerous events organised on the subject of occupational safety and health at home and abroad.
