Changes in the Board of Polimex-Mostostal

The Supervisory Board of Polimex-Mostostal SA removed Mr. Bogusław Piekarski, the operational vice-president, from his position on 29 October 2014.

 

- The responsibilities of Mr. Bogusław Piekarski have been taken by Maciej Stańczuk, the acting President of the Board - Adam Ambrozik says, Chairman of the Board of Polimex-Mostostal.

 

At the same time Mr. Jacek Czerwonka has been appointed the operational proxy of the management.

 

- Mr. Jacek Czerwonka, as the head of the Energy Industry Segment of Polimex-Mostostal has comprehensive knowledge of energy projects and will oversee operational issues - chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polimex-Mostostal informs.

Jacek Czerwonka has been associated with Polimex-Mostostal SA since October last year. He is a Director of the Energy Industry Segment, and since September this year, has been managing the Polimex Power Industry company, belonging to the group of Polimex-Mostostal.

Previously, for 19 years, Jacek Czerwonka had been associated with ALSTOM Power. In 1994, he began working in ABB Zamech Ltd. Five years later, the Energy Industry Segments of ABB and Alstom merged. The company changed its name to Alstom Power. Jacek Czerwonka began his career as a designer, then an independent constructor in the Department of and offer design. He was also, among others: head of a contract at the Department of Steam Turbines, on operational director, and a plant director. His last position at Alstom Power was a managing director.

Jacek Czerwonka is a graduate of the Technical University of Gdansk, Department of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology, specializing in Marine Equipment and Engine Rooms. He also graduated from postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Gdansk University of Technology and an MBA conducted by the Gdansk Foundation for Management Development.
