Another stage of Polimex-Mostostal Group restructurisation
On 28 October, two Polimex-Mostostal subsidiary companies, PRInż-1 and PRInż-9 operating in the building and road infrastructure sector, merged.
We are accelerating the process of optimisation of the Group operation by means of the longexecuted restructurisation. It covers mergers of selected companies in the segments in which Polimex is active as well as consolidation of small design companies. We are aiming at further increasing the effectiveness and optimisation of the Group operating costs, informs Konrad Jaskóła, President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.
The merger of the PRInż companies is also part of the Polimex-Mostostal plans aimed at further reinforcing the potential and road and railway segment share. The sale of Polimex-Mostostal in the market is continually increasing. In the recent period, Polimex has won and executed important road and railway investments, and new significant contracts are being signed. Perspectives for the industry are impressive. In the coming years, we expect to increase the scope of works and the number of tenders, among others due to the preparations for Euro 2012. This provides companies such as Polimex with great opportunities, adds Konrad Jaskóła.
