Another bid made by Polimex-Mostostal considered the best
The subject matter of the bid is the extension of the Raczyńskis Library building in Poznan with a new part integrated function- and communication-wise with the existing, historic building, inclusive of a purchase of permanent fixtures required to conduct library, information and scientific activity.
The bid net value amounts to: PLN 44,477,128.92.
The bid gross value amounts to: PLN 54,262,097.28.
The bid has been made by a consortium of the following companies:

Partner: ‘MASTER’ Emil Borys sp. jawna, Wysokie Mazowieckie.
Execution time: 18 months.
The future building, of total area of 11,738 sq.m., including 9,565.5 sq.m. of usable area, and cubature of 44,731 cu.m., will allow for the latest trends in library building construction and specialised equipment.
The new building will feature: a café, a bookshop and an arts gallery on the ground floor. The first floor will feature a lending library and computer stations. The second floor will be a reading hall. Finally, the third floor will feature the department of special collections as well as studios, among others, a conservation and bibliopegy studio. The fourth and the fifth floor will be used as storage space. On the other hand, under the building there will be an underground car park. Additionally, the building will also feature a large multimedia lending library.
- In the recent weeks, Polimex-Mostostal has also placed other bids which have been considered by the Ordering Party to be the most advantageous ones, for instance:
· for the construction of a section of the A-4 motorway for PLN 2.196 billion,
· of the value of: PLN 630 million, for the construction of a railway line, along the Podłęże-Bochnia section, placed by Torpol – a 100% subsidiary company of Polimex-Mostostal,
· for the construction of the Solidarity Centre in Gdansk, worth PLN 157 million,
· for the construction of a football stadium in Gliwice, worth over PLN 54.1 million,
· worth PLN 51 million, for the construction of the Puławy Science and Technology Park.
Following the awaited signature of the contracts, the value of our portfolio of orders will exceed PLN 11 billion, informs President of the Management Board, Konrad Jaskóła.
